Cath Blake-Powell
Design Projects Coordinator
Cath joins TPG with over 25 years experience in local and state government and private practice. She holds degrees in Urban and Regional Studies (Planning) and Cartography. Cath is a skilled planner, negotiator, facilitator and workshop coordinator. Jeff Malcolm
Town Planner
Jeff has recently joined TPG after having an extensive
career in state and local government. As Senior
Planning Officer at the Department of Planning and
Infrastructure with in the Urban Growth Management
and Network City Policy and Planning team Jeff was
required to prepare state planning policy, model
different development scenarios and understand the
effects on transport within regional CBD’s and identify
future urban land within the South West Metropolitan
and Peel Regions. Jeff’s time as a planner at the City
of Bunbury enabled him to gain anunderstanding of
the Western Australian Planning legislation. Prior
to Bunbury Jeff was the Development Assessment
Officer at the Town of Gawler in South Australia. His
time at Gawler required him to assess commercial,
industrial, and port development applications,
prepare third party appeals and conduct heritage
assessments. Melissa Needham
Town Planner
For the past four years Melissa has worked as a
statutory planner for the Whangarei District Council
in New Zealand where she processed approximately
350 resource consent applications including
subdivisions and land use consents and acted in a
Team Leader position to approximately 8 planners. A
career highlight has been involved in the Environment
Court of New Zealand in mediation and as an expert
witness for the Council. Sanjeewa Ratnayaka
Senior Urban Designer
Sanjeewa is a Senior Urban Designer with a Bachelor
of Architecture and a postgraduate in Urban Design
and Planning.
Sanjeewa’s role at TPG will be as a key Urban
Designer focusing on the built form, public realm
and presentation of concepts in a 3 dimensional
manner. |
