Latitude 32 (Formerly Known As The Hope Valley Wattleup Redevelopment Project)
Client: LandCorp

LandCorp's Redevelopment Project recently renamed Latitude 32 is located between Fremantle and Rockingham, to the east of Outer Harbour. The project comprises a substantial area of approximately 1,400ha, representing a State Government commitment of more than 30 years, and is expected to provide an anticipated 10,000 jobs.

TPG was appointed as the project planner to undertake the Structure Planning for the northern portions of the redevelopment project area. Structure Plan Areas F and I represent 195 hectares or 25% of the total redevelopment site. The project includes a number of best practice sustainability and planning principles including an eco-industrial park concept to promote more efficient use of infrastructure and encourage the re-use and recycling of industrial byproducts. A distribution centre is anticipated to be formed to service the southern suburbs of Perth and the State's South-West region, with activities to complement and support current and proposed bulk cargo facilities in the locality.

In addition to this, TPG has recently commenced a Structure Plan and subdivision review process for the Structure Plan Area A (Flinders Precinct) to the south of the redevelopment area. This process also includes the preparation of comprehensive design guidelines for the Precinct.
