TPG was commissioned to prepare the development application for the refurbishment of the existing Rockingham City Shopping Centre. The proposal was for an additional 13,000m² of floorspace, including a new cinema complex and food pavilion.
The report addressed major planning, urban design, traffic and architectural issues and the proposal's compliance with the findings of an Enquiry by Design Workshop, which was held prior to the lodgment of the DA, to determine the centre's integration with a new Transit Street being developed as part of the new southern railway extension. |
