South Beach a National Award Winning Community
The South Beach residential estate was awarded the 2008 National Urban Development Institute of Australia Awards for Excellence in Medium Density Housing at a gala dinner in Melbourne in March 2008. This award recognises excellence in the design, construction and marketing of medium density housing or apartment projects.
The South Beach development was also recognised at the 2007 WA Urban Development Institute of Australia Awards, winning both the medium Density and Urban Renewal Awards.
The estate utilises cutting edge residential environmental design for energy and water conservation. TPG Town Planning and Urban Design was instrumental in the development and implementation of design guidelines on behalf of Stockland to ensure the continued high quality of design standards throughout the development. |
